Macau Design Centre was established by Macau Designers Association in 2013. The main goals are to promote the spirit of design, absorb overseas innovation and introduce Macau design to the world stage. The building was restored from an abandon historical factory with a total area of about 26,000 square feet. In order to gather design resources and provide space for different kinds of activities relating to design and more, its 5 levels includes 17 studios, My Good Goods Creative Store, Coffee Shop and Reading Space, Performance Area, Exhibition Hall, Good Lab, Seminar Room and a relaxing Rooftop Garden.
Centering on the development of Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Visual Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, Animation Design and Universal Design, Macau Design Centre explores opportunities for Macau Design Industry and represents Macau cooperating with other design centres over the world, building a strong and long term partnership to develop new business approach and create opportunity for local design industry.
